CARE & CLEANING OF Travina

DO NOT SCRUB WITH ANY TYPE OF HARSH ABRASIVES

Regular cleaning using mild detergent and hot water is all that is needed to maintain the beauty of your Travina countertop. Thoroughly rinse and dry the surface immediately after washing.

Acidic substances like wine, coffee, fruit juices, tomato sauce, and sodas must be wiped up immediately. NEVER allow any liquid acidic or otherwise to sit for an extended period of time or to become trapped between an object and the countertop with out wiping up as that may result in damage to the top.

To help protect the surface we require the use of trivets or hot pads under pots and pans. Use coasters under your drinking glasses. Use a cutting board and NEVER cut objects, especially anything acidic, directly on the surface.

Since Travina is a natural calcite based product and susceptible to acidic substances, DO NOT use vinegar, ammonia, lemon or orange as cleaners. Extended use of these types of products could degrade the countertops appearance over time.

If your Travina is being used in an outdoor application we require covering the Travina in the winter and applying high quality sealer to help protect the surface from the elements. By following these guidelines your Travina product will give you many years of service and enjoyment.
